The five zones of Food Corporation of India (FCI) invites application from eligible candidates to the post of Junior Engineer (JE) (Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering), Assistant Grade 2 Hindi, Typist Hindi, and Assistant Grade 3 (General, Accounts, Technical, Depot). The five zones are North Zone, South Zone, West Zone, East Zone, and North-East Zone. The last date for the submission of application is 17/03/2015.

Exam Pattern & Selection Process

The selection process for the FCI recruitment exam to the post of Asst. Grade 3, Assistant Grade 2, Typist Hindi, JE (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering) is conducted through written examination. 

The exam pattern is divided into papers: Paper 1, Paper 2, Paper 3 and Paper 4. 

The Paper 1 is compulsory for candidates appearing for the recruitment (except for AG 2, Hindi Typist). Rest all have to appear in the Paper 1 exam (MCQ based), Visit FCI Exam Syllabus Paper 1. The Paper 2 is post specific, it is again MCQ based. The Paper 2 is applicable for AG 2 (Hindi) and Typist Hindi posts. The Paper 4 will be attempted by those candidates who are applying for Assistant Grade 2 Hindi.
